Our story begins with Kim — an artist who left her war-torn homeland to pursue a life shaped by beauty, craftsmanship, and care. After training under master artisans in the U.S. and Japan, she opened her first boutique in London in the 1990s. At a time when most salons played it safe, Kim introduced 3D design and sculptural nail art — pioneering techniques virtually unseen in the UK. Her work helped inspire a wave of Asian-owned salons and redefine how nail artistry was experienced.
